Midi Keyboards

Post by digitaljunkie » Mon May 08, 2006 9:31 am

I'm wanting to experiment with production, samples and remixing.

Any suggestions?

Around the £100 mark or less :)

Seen these...

M-Audio O2 rrp $179 USD
CME UF5 rrp £114 GBP

Any others or experiences with these?

I can second the KeyControl. Good idea with the 8 scroll-wheel thingies as well.

ok - will do, but still waiting for the package - i think thomann may have bungled my order (they're usually very good and german about that kind of thing!)

sorry for taking forever to reply - it turned out the keycontrol unit has been discontinued - or bought by a different company or something. basically thomann couldnt sell it to me, but offered an alesis photon 25 instead for the same price.

i got it last week and have been real happy with it. the knobs have a nice feel to them and with the 3 layers for each knob, theres alot that can be assigned. .

software synths have never been so much fun before..
