How about some good news - techno

Post by djadonis206 » Fri May 12, 2006 5:06 am

Guess what? My first proper techno release is out and on vinyl - actually I did a techno song like 3 or 4 years ago but we only pressed 100 or so and blah blah blah - but yeah

The Grounded EP on F1 Recordings

I'm (we're - I did it with my friend Roman) pretty excited

go to www.junorecords.com and click on new releases today May 11th - techno

it's the ELEMENTS EP

with none other than

Carl Taylor (he's some where on this board ;))
Chris Cowie
Alan Banford
us

all the tracks are pretty dope - go buy it if you're into techno music

110% in Ableton - we used a computer and a turntable

thanks for the support!

and actually the really good news is - ok get this

so Donald works with a good friend of ours Anthony <--I think they're pretty tight

Well we kick it at anthony's studio from time to time - anywayz they did this remix for Marco G and Preach "Funkolicous"

well that came out the day before our track so Seattle is kind of blowing up the Juno techno section right now (kinda is small way compared to Ben Sims and Carl Cox and ... you get what I'm saying) - the whole FUNKILOCIOUS thing is sick...you know it is cause preach's name is on it

but anywayz - just thought I'd spread the good news - scroll down to May 10th and buy Marco G's FUNKOLICIOUS - Donald Glaude Heavyhitter remix <---- that's anthony (MAXAMP)

Seattle what what !!!!

Thanks homies!

No that's not the track on my Myspace page - believe it or not but that one's coming out on a new label distributed exclusively on Dancerecords.com in the US but will bei nstores overseas - the label Via Musique - the 4th release. I'm remixing the third one as kind of a "introduction" on the label

So things are actually working out - it took me 1500+ posts but hey, it's happening :)

Now all I have to do is get these prereqs taken care of and get on with my life

Oh and I'm going to see Marco Bailey tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!
