Here is my Setup
Ableton 5.02
Guitar Rig 2
Edirol USB Sound Card
USB Mini with in and outs
Windows XP
HP Pavilion dv4000
I am able to program my fcb1010 to control live as needed, and also guitar rig as needed. When I try to use Guitar Rig 2 as a VST, I run into problems.
When I drag Guitar Rig 2 onto a Midi track in Live, then arm the recording I can then switch banks on the FCB1010 and control Guitar Rig with my fcb1010. The only problem is, I cannot hear anything. If I put guitar rig into an audio track, I can hear everything, but I cannot control the Guitar Rig with my fcb1010.
Ultimatley I wouldl like to trigger drum loops, switch banks in the FCB and then be able to switch guitar settings, then the ability to go back to Ableton Bank and switch loops. If anyone can help, please please help.

I have pretty much the same setup.
You need to insert GR2 in an audio track.
Then insert a midi track. Select the input for the midi track to come from the fcb, then set the out put to the audio track with GR2. You have to selet the input monitoring on both tracks in order to hear the results.

GUITAR RIG REMOTE MIDI MAPPING
Hi anybody can help me really? I Symply want to use guitar rig as it was standalone, and change the banks with my FCB. Possible? How? I do not want to go through the ableton live interface...I just need to change my effect on the guitar, with a foot switch.. HELP
