Hello accdntly,

Just for me to understand: your sessions were running around 20% CPU, and now they run at 90% ?
Did you add any plugin to your system, or hardware ?

Kind regards,

I was looking for people experiencing something similar to my problem :

I have constant crashes when using my VST Korg synths (they're legit not cracked).
I also have random crashes when playing several audio clips with effects.

The CPU meter in Ableton never gets past 45% so far, and yet it's very unstable.

Today while I was investigating the problem, I CTRL ALT DEL to Windows task manager and noticed a CPU usage of +/- 95% by Ableton. A set was loaded, a small one, and it was not running.

I rebooted the computer, launched Ableton and the CPU usage was still above 90% for Ableton, with no set loaded.

My computer is a Sony Vaio 1.7 Ghz Centrino, 768 Mo RAM, running XP. My soundcard is a Mbox.
