So I just decided to upgrade Live 4 to 5 since I got my Macbook Pro. Currently I have the Grand 2, Arturia plugs, and BFD installed in my system VST and AU folders. In Active Sources I have AU and VST set. The only thing that shows up is Apple AU plugins. I even copied the vst folder to my desktop and set that location and it sees nothing. I have trashed preferences and even reinstalled Live 5. I am on 10.4.6. The plugins all work in Nuendo 3. These plugins are not Intel ready but are working in Nuendo. Is this why they are not showing up??

If you're using an Intel version of your host software it will only see Intel versions of your plug-ins.

I guess that is why Nuendo sees them. Too bad Nuendo is sluggish for the time being. Well thanks for clearing that up. It seems having an Intel compadible host isn't very useful when all the plugins in the world almost are still not. O well the waiting game again.

KVR has an up-to-date comprehensive list of compatible plug-ins, you should check 'em out.
