In my manual it says that it can send CC messages but only CC-max or CC-min. As far as I understand it, it is meant as an equivalent to note on/off for other programs than Live.
Got my LX2 for a few hours now and it rocks... so does the LX1.
The leds are ... so useful (and sexy, glowing faintly when not fully lit). 64 buttons on the other hand on the LX1, is there any other device with that much buttons?
Get them both.

oh...nothing...your right...Yes, I think it is true. You have to save all in Live, but what´s the prob with that?
my only point of reference is my lil uc33. sometimes for larger sets, i'll spread out my 8 tracks over a couple of midi channels...1-8 (midi ch.1...) 9-16 (ch 2..) etc
so far....that knob looks really appealing to me too....want to be able to use that strictly for navigation, setting it on my powerbook.
anyone have any strong feelings about that knob? ?
is it an endless pot?
inspiration. fingers. LIVE 7
