I believe it was on macrumors, which I generally find to be more reliable than other mac fan-sites (esp. thinksecret). I don't remember the specific article it was under, but I do recall it being published after the release of the new macbooks, not before.

Yeah that's the only mac site I frequent too.

It may be applied the same way, but the finish is completely different, and the Nano finish is protected under a layer of clear plastic. The plactic that everyone was bitching about scratching so easily.

My TiBook from a few years ago was flaking at the hinges. Apple never opted for a fix for the issue, and My computer ran just fine anyway.

I suppose if you pay $150 for the Black finish, you are more concerned with appearance than the comp's performance anyway. :P
15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.
