LIVE 5... back to demo mode! :(

Post by CJ Vega » Sat May 20, 2006 11:20 pm

Hello,

My Live 5 today opened in Demo mode and i cannot save anymore...
This happened after installing the drivers for my remote SL 25 including Live 5 Auto-map...

Before this Live was working fine as usual.

I did uninstall Live and Installed it again and it keeps saying demo mode on de low status bar...
But on the preferences it says "Live 5 Unlocked"!!!

Please help me (if anyone can) since i have a lot of work in stand by... and i CANOT SAVE IT!!!

what does it say about operator?

so you have a set open right now, which you've been working on while in demo mode? that might not have been the greatest idea - i think that even if you sort out getting it out of demo mode, that it may require a program restart before you can save.

maybe if worse comes to worse you could use another program to grab the audio you've been working on and bring it back in after you've figured out this problem

Hello there!

Guess what... the operator was ON and since is DEMO my LIVE went to demo mode and save was not possible... I didnt notest what happened to turn ON this demo.

Quite stupid...!!
It should say on the bottom "Save not allowed since operator DEMO is on".

This way they could avoid future compications!!!

you can set operator to "hide" which will help prevent accidentally doing this
