Audio Hijack 2.6.6 wont record from ableton \5.2

I have recently purchased a mac book pro and updated my Ableton software as well as my audio hijack. before i could record live sets and use VSt's without a hitch now i can do neither!! can anyone enlightten me on this new technology debacle????

What i dont understand is that when you download 2.6.6 AH it states ity is Mac-intel compatible!! and apparently Ableton 5.2 update has fixed most problems???? anyone out there got the same problem?

also 5.2 clips and spikes like nothing half the time!!! anyone reckon Ableton 6 will give you a chance to have some fun again?

Hello Captain Johnson,

About Audio Hijack, what exact problems do you have ? Are they related to Live? Does it work at all ?
Now, about your spikes on the Macbook pro: do you have any power settings you can adjust ? Are all your sessions the same ? Did some sessions work well on your previous computer and give problems on the MBP ?

Last question: do you use an external soundcard or the internal one ?

Basically, i used to have a power book G4 that worked with no problems with Ableton 5 and audio hijack. now it seems neither work together AH 2.6.6 with Ableton 5.2.
if i record something through an app that works, say i-tunes, once i activate the hijack button after selecting to record direct from the selected application, the sound level bars will rise with the music or sounds coming from the app. this is currently done through my internal sound card. I am however about to install my m-audio fire wire external card. though i doubt this will make a difference. Audio hijack will simply not pick up any sounds coming from ableton 5.2 intel/mac update. would you like me to e-mail you my activation code for my Audio Hijack account so you can try this out?

Also do u have any idea about the availablity of 2.4 VST's? and whether ableton 6 will allow you use past VST's and live sets ?
