Macbook and USB connectivity

Post by Daduk » Sun May 21, 2006 1:02 pm

It looks like a real interesting deal. Macbook in order to use Logic Pro again and Live.

But, I do worry about the fact that you have onlu two USB ports.
Is there a good hub which works rock solid with Macs? I mean I can't use that kind of problems on stage.
The MBPro does have more USB connections.

What should I do when you consider the rest of the Macbook is good and strong enough to use Logic and Live on stage?

I'd say any ol' usb 2 hub will do. You shouldnt have any problems.
[edit:]forgot to mention that I use a rather excellent tiny little Targus 4-port usb hub - works flawlessly[/edit]

I needed more than 4 extra ports, and just picked up a D-Link 7-port hub.

It's far sturdier than my previous no-name hub, and works great.

Ok, thanks guys.
Another worry is solved.
Let's see how the experiences are on the new Mac books and Logic. I think I will get one very soon:)
