I have an IBM Thinkpad T42, i also use a firewire terratec 7.1 external soundcard plugged into a pcmcia card, i was usin ableton yesterday with it plugged into a pioneer djm 500 mixer all was goin grand....
I turned the laptop off then went back again to use it and it stopped workin as in no sound comin through the mixer. I have all the channels on the soundcard assigned to the channels on the mixer through ableton, but now wen i use ableton or any program requiring sound like winamp for example, it wont send any sounds to my mixer.
I have checked control panel and everything seems fine, any ideas? I have a gig on friday and really need to get it sorted....
