sorry but I can't put a hand on that option, altough preferences are not hundreds...You can turn it on in the preferences in 5.0.1. Maybe it was removed in 5.2!?
can u tell how it is called?
I am running 5.0.1 fo the moment
thx
Ok, ok I'm sorry. i really, really didn't think anyone would buy it. (Particularly as I posted the pic some time ago as a Feature Request.)
You can stop trawling the preferences for this option. This screen layout is only available if you have Photoshop installed. Its also not very functional although it does look nice.
Sorry for any hopes I've just raised and then dashed on the cruel rocks of hoax.
Both Views at the same time... :)

aww. i got excited. but, yeah, i would go out and buy another monitor if there was a way to have the session and arrangment views at the same time, OR to have arrangement view with a separate detachable mixer window, a mixer that you could make as big as you wanted (as opposed to the two inch mixer in session view). i think i'd like the detachable, sizeable mixer window better. the only reason i use session view is for the mixer
The could bundle 6.0 with monitors!!snowtires wrote:aww. i got excited. but, yeah, i would go out and buy another monitor if there was a way to have the session and arrangment views at the same time, OR to have arrangement view with a separate detachable mixer window, a mixer that you could make as big as you wanted (as opposed to the two inch mixer in session view). i think i'd like the detachable, sizeable mixer window better. the only reason i use session view is for the mixer

Detachable windows sounds like Live's wonderful no mess interface going to hell. But a 'dual' mode would be fantastic. Vertical for those of us with a single screen (and a big res) and horizontal for multiple monitor setups.
As I am all for retaining the simplistic interface I think the multi monitor feature could implemented as a 'dual fullscreen mode' tickable menu item. i.e when you press f11 and 'dual fullscreen mode' is on, both displays go into fullscreen with screen 2 . In Preferences we could have a listbox for 'display 2 driver' and 2 little boxes where you could swap around 'C' and 'A' to decide which screen is Clip and which is arrage .
As said,IMO detachable windows is a bad idea and a step towards Live losing some of what makes it so efficient.
