...* enter a dozen jokes about live 6's new vitual-dilithium-crystal-powered-waveform-transmogifying-holographic-3D-spectrum-intelligent-randomizing-auto-dynamic-re-mangler.... bundled with either fluffy ableton slippers or an oven mitt.

I'm hoping for:
- .mp3 support
- MIDI sequencing
- Automapping
- Warping of audio files
- Vst support
- Render to disk
- Scene capture
- Track delay
and a little fucking orange dot.

It'll probably suck your cock for you.

but the CPU used for that will make it's loop playing ability fall by the wayside.

I'd rather pay a subscription per month then have Live get bloated by
features that are only added to release an update and keep the company
alive.

I am hoping that it will make Academic advisors do their Jobs, and erase all of the other woes from my humble little life...

As one of the non-dance music fellas here, I think it would be great if they realised that not everyone is using Live to create that sort of stuff and..I dunno...added some more realistic sounding drums, pianos & strings & stuff as standard issue.

Oh, and OMF & QuickTime support as lots of folk have wished for. Would be great to do sound post for movies in Live.

I think the only thing I'm hoping for is better cpu usage and internal lfo's that you can link to any knob like fruityloops has (fruityloops of all things has this feature before ableton? come on...)

ps.. I really do love fruity still.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

i second love for fruity poops

in fact, if they didnt have such a stupid backwards way of recording from external sources and arranging it all i would probably have stuck with FLoops instead of moving on

Because of the commonality between M-Audio and Ableton, there will be a hardware controller made strictly for Live 6.

A little bird told me.
Tyan i845GL, 1.6Ghz Pentium 4, 512 Mb, Radeon 9100, Echo Gina, Behringer UB1204, BCR2000, Ableton 5.2, Stylus RMX

I went to a Ableton demo and the rep hinted at this
