MIDI trigger help

i own an m-audio trigger finger and i used to launch recording tracks.

my problem is that when i record, i have to push and hold down the damn pad

or else it'll stop recording and start playback. What paramaters do i need to

change?

I'm definitely sure that my launch modes are all in trigger, with global

quantization. So it's definitely not a problem with live but with my midi trigger.

the simple things .... crap...

i dont have one but i had similar thing with an alesis photon, it will be in the manual or maybe at the web site for the trigger finger, nothing to worry about it will just be a few simple changes in the trigger finger.
