ALC files make me revert down to demo mode! :-(

Post by P33J » Thu May 25, 2006 11:21 pm

Hey all, nice forums going...i usualy am a reason user, but i recently picked up ableton, and im already getting random problems. I'm using Live 5, fully registered and all that blah blah, BUT, whenever i go to drop a .ALC clip into a scene live like screams at me, that if i want to use the full feature set, that i must revert to 'demo mode'....im jsut thinking i paid 400$ for a demo mode !!?? Anyway, with all that said, I've seen what my fiends have created (and performed) with it, and im still in awe. I've asked them though, and none of them ever had this problem. SO any information would be really appreciated :o

----> Btw, how do you get VSTi's to run on it with like an M-Audio Oxygen 8 keyboard? Ive gotten the VSTI up, but i dont know how to make it run off my keyboard, or really make them generate any noise.

Thanks all

you must be dragging in operator clips. change operator in the last tab in preferences to 'hidden' instead of 'demo'

operator is a softsynth
yes, to buy
it's in demo mode because they want you to try it, so you'll want to buy it
