Accidentally, probably while hitting save in the clip view section, I enabled RAM on a 4 minutes clip, and created a live clip from that, when previewing this clip from the browser it freezed Live.
I found out by switching off previewing, and dropping that clip.

In fact it was easy to drag in a track and turn the RAM off, save and then it didn't lock Live, but it's just that while browsing during a set, you don't want Live to lock up while you're looking for your next track, because one of them happens to have RAM enabled.
I don't think they're reading this. It's probably going to be one of those recurant bugs that not many people encounter so it just lays there waiting to happen...
