I have Live 5.2 on my laptop PC with the downloaded ASIO driver from asio4all. The program was running well until I installed M-Audio's ozonic. With Ozonic installed I can't hear anything with the ASIO. Which was fine, I switched back to my MME/DirectX sound card. Only now I try and run clips and Ableton can't do it. It's incredibly slow. A simple 3 second clip takes mintues to load, and the sound cuts out.
I've tried using the ASIO, and I can see that when I hit a key on the Ozonic Ableton is picking up the info (the volume and other meters rise and fall), but I can't actually hear anything. I'd appreciate any help.
Everything was workign fine one day, and the next this crap happened... I don't get it.
I have 612Mbs of Ram. Seems like it should be enough....
Thanks

I downloaded the driver, but realized I had Live reading from both the Ozonic and ASIO, so I disabled ozonic's sound (in the preferences/audio tabs) and I could then hear ozonic. However, the clips are still barely playing, and each time i hit a key on ozonic my CPU usgae goes to about 20-40%, and I'm not using any effects.
Not sure if Ozonic was a good buy. Is Oxygen or something else less memory-intensive?
