Come on guys, thats all a bit harsh isn't it? Fair enough he should have looked into it all a bit more, but thats no way to treat someone. It just shows how faceless peeps can be when placed in front of a computer screen. In my opinion theres far too many 'know it alls' on this forum, and that sucks.
Its a learning curve for all of us, I don't care who you are.

Rudeness, unfortunately, is the modus operandi here.

I'm not sure how it got to be that way; it didn't used to be. I think that when a newer, shinier product comes to town, a lot of the rudeness will follow that shinier product.

Why should he keep it if it doesnt work for him?? Should he delay all his work for six months or more, just to have the latest piece of bling?

I think not.
Who the fuck asked you? I sure didn't. 8O It was just a suggestion since the dude allready had the piece, I was teeling him that he could still work with it, And get to grips with what he allready has. I'm not the one to be quoting and flaming with, otherwise I'm a pretty nice and helpfull guy.

Dude. You've been here since Feb 2006, have 1/3 the posts I have already, and when they are not fluffing macs they are attacking people. I just don't get it.

I mean... think about it.... if you had gone in their store 1 day before the MacIntel's arrived.... they would have told you that the PowerBook G4 was more powerful than any PC. Then the MacIntel's come out, and they say that it's 4 times faster than the PowerBook. But it's just a PC with an Apple logo on it. So this means they are admitting PCs were 4 times faster than their PowerBooks.
HAhahhaa! That's a funny way of seeing it!
eehhh kinda, not really- I see what you are saying, but the macbook pro were the first computers to feature the core duo, so no. Considering that it was first it too was 4x faster than a pc of equivalent speed of a g4.

I agree with you. I've skipped through this thread, but some people are being way to 'know it all' for there own good.

I understand being excited about new technology and making an error like this. Hopefully you now know to do more research next time.

Hope you get a full refund.
