"illegal loop" in soundforge 8

Post by slmoon » Tue May 30, 2006 12:40 am

After I create an audio loop in Live 5, I open it in Soundforge 8 using the Editor button in Session view. I always get the message in Soundforge "illegal loop, this has been corrected". Then the loop works fine. This doesn't happen when I load loops that came pre-configured with Live 5. Something I am or am not doing in Live? Thanks.

sounds like the age old problem that Live has in that it can't make "proper" spec'd audio files. this issue has been around quite a long time. audio files that i've rendered out from Live have never been able to open in Sample Manager, which adheres to all the standards of wav and aiff. just something off in the way Live makes its audio files.
