retro...
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

Very nice...
The notch in the F key about midway is a nice feature so you know which key you are on in the dark. Innovative !

besides the nice sound card it has i dont see anything I like in this keyboard.....why would I put that ugly looking keyboard next to my new futuristic powerbook????? .

. i think the time where keyboards where cool looking retro was before the laptop revolution , now I want everything small , futuristic looking and powerful.

I wonder if it's worth trying to fit an RME card into a stylophone, firewire only cos of space restictions, special fitting for a mic stand mount. Hell there may even be enough room for a sustain pedal socket. Maybe we could spray it in hot gloss green!
Any engineers out there?

Engineers? Yes, however not with time for that project....
As for this little hoax, there is no such tihing as a 48bit A/D or D/A.
Sorry kids, but that math works out to, Hmmmmm.... lets see....
a couple trillion quantization intervals per sample. Impractical, if not to say impossible (for commercial manufactuer). Would be nice though....

Not half as cool as the midi rubber-band I've been using for years.

oh yeah baby! that is the shiznit of all shiznits! i used to have bontempi's more old-school model, the AE604 model. one time i hit the super-trick button and voop! my consciousness was sucked inside-out and i was suddenly seeing the world through the eyes of the 30,000+ fans at my show, all looking at me!!! and they were all inside my head, looking out through just my two eyeballs! but, man, the old-school supertrick button had a fast 200ms release on the ADSR envelope...talk about psychic whiplash! i'm definetely interested to see if they fixed that "problem" or maybe just put a potentiometer inside to tweak the ego resonance factor...

I think it woul dbe a mistake to buy that. The design beggars belief. DJ's hate to use pots for controlling volume....SO why implement a pots only solution?....And the crossfader is in the wrong position. Why not simply put it where every other crossfader is
Thats a Very bad design, topped off with the latency it then becomes a plastic lump of uselessness.

Not sure of the logic of that one, Mackie are a US "manufacturer" whose products are mainly built in China now. Plenty of Japanese companies use Taiwan for fabrication etc.
It's nice to see the emerging competition in the controller market though. Hoaxes aside of course.
