Replace it with some really sweet jazz fusion lines.
They stick just as well but at least it's not some stupid bitch singing bout stupid shit.

If someone complains about having a tune on "high rotate" in their head, I usually just sing them a few bars of: "Joseph's coat was elegant, the cut was fine..."
(and then run away)

humming a few lines from jimi hendrix "if six was nine" will get any parasitic melody out of my head instantly.

singing "psycho killer" by the Talking Heads has been clinically proven to remove any song stuck in your head. ..... apparently! it works for me every time!

I useually make up an ending for whatever it is that wont stop, doesn't realy matter, just make up something stupid like 'ba dom tish' that useually allways stops it.
They use this trick alot in commercials, they have a song running behind the commercial, then they abruptly end it in the middle of a bar to try to get the commercial stuck in your head, notice how a lot of commercials never properly end the song they use, it allmost never ends naturally it fades or ends abruptly.

Try dating a girl named "melody" and get her out of your head while making music
Never again
Anyway, to get rid of the melody stuck in your head.... Sing it till somebody else is stuck with it. Works everytime.

I've had the "Centerfold" riff in my head for an hour now. Except it started out as the whistle and now it's the full-blown na-na-naaa . . .
Damn you, Ryan!!!!!
