Hi,

Anyone know of a freeware compressor (OS X version) I can use for sidechaining in Live?

Cheers

lord toranaga,

Could you see if there's a site name given in the files? Since the files are freeware, would you mind zipping the files then emailing me a copy?

They will be accessible when you access the AU/VST plug-in pane next to Ableton's file browser. Don't forget to turn AudioUnits on in the preferences.

To get the nice free Audio Units and AU Lab too, you need to install the Xcode Tools from the other DVD that shipped with Tiger (assuming that is what you are running on -- if not, somebody else may be able to help).
