loosing decoding cache

Post by DRD2 » Tue Jun 06, 2006 12:13 am

Hello there...

I was working, almost a month,a set with Live that i had savedit in a folder (decoding cache) for backup. after some days that I'vetrying to open it again, the folder was empty and Live crashed! I've trying to restore my system in an earlier time, but when i restart windows, the problem remains. In the end, i had to locate any MP3 or wave file in a new set...

I don't know...but it seems like a bug

I would think twice about using the decoding cache for storing files. Whenever the folder reaches the threshold and set in preferences, files that are not being used by the current set will be overwritten. Sounds like this may be what happened to you.
