Abelton Live 5 template for UC33e

Post by TS » Fri Jun 02, 2006 6:19 pm

Anyone know where I can locate the file the UC33e uses to comunicate with Abelton? I have the physical plastic sheet that goes over the UC33e for abelton. When I bought the controller it had abelton lite with it.
For the life of me I can't understand why the Enigma software doesn't include abelton in its templates.
I know I could just program abelton in midi mode, but I liked the template I had downloaded from the old evolution site before they sold to m-audio. Now I cant find it again. If someone has an Enigma file you like for abelton can you send it to me? Thanks. TS

The template for the UC33 that *should* be included with it is available from the Evolution website:

http://www.evolution-i.net/support/presets.htm

I've also made a Mackie Control preset for it:

http://www.beatrouteproductions.com/Mus ... ontrol.xml

(right click, save target as). This file can be opened in Enigma.

I used to use premade presets but, to be honest, there's nothing like making your own for the way you work.

Thanks Polyphonic. This is the site I was trying to find. Unfortunately the link to the file download is no longer available.

Ts; I haven't received an email or PM.

Where do you learn all the programming? Do you mean where did I learn it or where do you learn it in general?

Machinate (from this forum) posted the Mackie Control info here so I used his (fantastic) information to program the UC33 with the Enigma software.
