lm - before you split, what's up with your name anyway? I dig it, but where in the world did you come up with that? ...and the .lm. cool too. when I was a mere n00b I thought it was someone flipping the bird, then it looked like a hand on a mouse...

You should work your way into Laptop DJing for one of the rides on an off day, that would be pretty cool, I wonder if you could DMX into the ride controls

Wellll, i don't have a mullet. But, i do rock a beard. It's not quite zztop length yet, but it's pretty close. I think that's working in my favor for carny street cred.

the name? Not much of a story. Someone started calling me that ages ago and it stuck. I use it as a stage name because i like how funny and not serious it is. Before that i was using "sporangia" and it was just too fucking much. Y'know, doing "idm" (whatever the fuck that means) and having a super serious artsy name just kinda sucks. Ahhh, back in the good ol' mid nineties. Hard to believe i've been doing this shit for more than a decade. And I still have the same audience of like 20 people.

The Old Gypsy told me that this is going to be MC GranMarnierAndYooHoo's big break. After the "regular" carnival barker is decapitated in a horrible Tilt-A-Whirl accident, GMAYH steps up to save the show. The rest, as they say, is history. . .

anyway, just on here briefly, probably won't have internet again for a while.

here's some pics.

on my way to meet the carnival i played an original set on the nicest sound system i've ever played on. Heres a pic of my friend telling me not to take a photo in the dj booth. So i can't tell you where it is because they want it to be super secret. anyway, it was pretty fuckin amazing:

well, obviously i've been back for a while now.

whatta fucked up scene, yo.

there was about one full set of teeth between all the workers. Some cats even had teeth broken out of their dentures!

why do carnys smell like cabbage? Well, i don't know about cabbage, but you would smell weird too if you slept in the back of a truck and occasionally showered in the back of another truck.

thank god i didn't shag anything that had anything to do with that fucking place. let's just say they don't make condoms thick enough.

I had a lot of fun, but i can't really recomend the experience to anyone else. Pretty fuckin hard and pretty fuckin gross.
