How do you guys feel about Ableton's Live?
Is it as "buggy" as I have heard, or is it a stable app overall?
How is Ableton's tech support?
Are there any consistent bugs that seem to be present in every new version?
Potential User with Questions?
To me it's the most stable daw I used on pc, and I used sequencers/daws since before PCs was commonplace, unless I use a buggy vst Live has never crashed on me, stabillity is a big one for me, anything that randomly crashes doesn't live long on my systems, if they don't work out of the box without needing special tweaks and standing on one leg then they go bye bye.
Dunno about tech support, never needed it, I reported a bug with one of my powercore plugins and got a reply that they found a solution and it would be fixed in less than 24 hours.
Only thing consistent I can think of is that the arrange view can get slow once you have a tons of edits going on, it only happens for some people though, I can have pretty big arrangements going on with only slight slowdowns if I move a whole mess of tracks around.
But as allways, no two systems are the same so take what random people on forums tells you with a grain of salt, and download the demo.
