splitting a clip / track in standard view

Hello
I need to split a track in the standard view, like one can do in Adobe Audition and lost of other programs, but I havent found it yet in Live. This is possible right?

I´ve been copying the track to another channel and moved the in and out points of each track to acomplish this, wich is really boring and unintuative.

Drag it into arrange view (if you're in session view just drag it over the arrange icon). Click through the track hitting CTRL-E where you want to split it, then select all of it and drag it to session view via the icon. Quite simple and even easy to do live.

Thx alot man, it´s working on wave files, not having any luck with midi stuff I have made.
