I'm still new to beat making but have tried several vst with interesting results.

Suppatrigga
Heizenbox

I just ordered Reaktor 5 and can't wait!

phatmatik pro is the bomb-diggy, specially for beat-enthused types.

load in some non-beat audio, such as a vocal, and turn it into beats. sweet.

loads of fun, really simple and cpu friendly.

Word on that. Absolutely.

For instruments, I'm diggin the Pro-53. I find that I can change patches smoothly in Live whereas all other NI products glitch out while I'm playing a midi clip.

I'm looking for a VST analog modeling synth with multiple filters that I can route in PARALELL, not in series. I used to be able to do that with my Andromeda A6 and my Waldorf Micro Q, but I sold 'em both. Any suggestions?
