clip editing to mix tracks together

Post by aria-9 » Thu Jun 15, 2006 12:01 pm

how do you adjust the clips in the arrangement to enable you to mix 2 tracks together to make a smooth transition ( beat matching )?

can you put both tracks into the arrangement screen and move them about to get them beat on beat and the rite bpm`s?

can anyone be of assistance please ??

thanks

it's called warping. you need to make it so that all of those numbered black lines in the clip view land on the appropriate beats. they are bar and beat numbers, you can drag them around and they will make the audio line up properly.

there's a tutorial around here somewhere called rock solid warping that you need to read. i'm on shitty wireless and the search is being annoying so i can't find it for you, but that's what you want. warping.
