Livepacks other then trash-sounds....

Post by Patbos » Thu Jun 15, 2006 7:13 pm

Im looking for livepacks, free and commersial.

but the most i find when it comes to impulse-kits almost everything is trashed and distorted and beatrepeated.

YEs, i can turn that of, but it sounds lame then, couse it is made with the distortion for exampel. But im looking for packs with kits for example trance, house etc.

Some of the simple-sounds in the trashed livepacks is ok, so mostly im looking for good impulsekits with some nice compressor and eq on.

Then good sounds overall is welcome two =)

For trance sounds, especially kick ass drums for Impulse, check out Vengeance Essential Club Sounds volumes 1 & 2. Demos at http://vengeance-sound.de/

Nice stuff. Not sure if it fits in the trance or house styles. Just not familiar enough with those styles to say. But I like TrackTeam's livefills lots.

The Trackteam stuff is a little bland for me. I like Soundwrecks because it's ballsy and has a lot of punch. Same with what I've heard of the Vengeance - it sounds mean and rips your speakers with that ultra-trance sound.

SoundWrecks would be best described as "Crunchy".
I wouldn't go around calling it "trashy" though. It's not THAT crunchy

There's actually a nice collection of "clean" kits in there. For the 1.1 update, we recorded a lot of drums from custom operator patches. Those can be used out of the box to make your own kits. And they blend in nicely with other sample collections.
