i write almost all my music in ABLETON and perform with it aswell, i usualy do my final mixs in pro tools tdm because i owna lot of plug ins for os9 on my tower but my lappy if full fledged "live" and ready haha

good music here. good vocals. who is it? a friend?

do you play the songs as tracks from within live or do you perform them on the fly.
just wondering how that works for you.

when i play live i bring my singer so he sings live over the beds that I create, i usually have the back up vocals for the songs as samples i can trigger and loads of different percussion loops I have made, sound fxs ect. i tend to keep the drummappella running under the spontanious composition i make, my singer will most likely improve with his voice and we can dub it out with fxs ect, just a hell of a lot of fun, i used to use a triton,mpc 2000 and O1V mixer and a cdj 100 to play live sets what a drag that was to carry all that stuff set up and it was actually more restrictive. about 2 yeasr ago i tried live and was hooked sold all the other stuff and started to buy sft wre.
