Having problems with Live and Matrox Parhelia video card.

I have been trying to sort out some serious audio glitches and zipper sounds when moving objects on the screen, mostly faders and sends. I have talked a little with ableton support, a fair amount of time with the RME folks in the US, and spent ALOT of time talking with a guy at Matrox. Ten days have come and gone and I am getting nothing but complaining from Live. I am just wondering if anyone other than me is working with this combo.

Hey im having similar probs with live 5.2 as noted in the thread below,

I don't have the same gfx card(nvidia mx4000) but i do have the same motherboard(asus a8v deluxe).
Can u please read the linked thread above & mabey listen to the examples then try a experiment for me.

put autofilter on that track & set it to modulate the LP frequency @ around 1/8 or 1/12 with the filter set @ about 3k+ & amount @ full to see if the same occurs for you.

Ok it looks like i have confirmed a pretty serious issue with the Asus A8V motherboard. You cant use the QID agp, or the Parhelia agp with the Asus A8V in conjunction with live without having audio clicks and pops. This may not be obvious untill you use a plugin that has a heavy demand on interface, Voxengo Span was a good test. I also have found that working with my new motherboard ASRock939-SATA2 I can drive the computer harder before audio starts to break up.

I am just posting this to warn the folks who are having issues with this motherboard. Many people swear by that motherboard but for me it was a problem from day one. So far it seems that the ULi M1695 is a good chipset but it is to early to say for sure.
