Oh, I forgot......
The abe's are especially good about releasing things.........don't believe me? Mention the others!
Let's see......they were one of the first to go UB, and they did so in a reasonable period of time......
There is one feature you can count on in 6........they have made it clear that it will take advantage of coreduo/etc.....

it's true there's probably loads of stuff about live 5 I still dont even knowhambone1 wrote:Trust me, I DO care.
But I'd rather spend my time working with and learning how to make the best of what I've got than moaning about what I haven't...
but I'm really getting keen just to know what's in it - what has been picked out of the millions of feature requests - what is the general consensus this time of what were the most important improvements to make?
i reckon Live 6 will be the nitpicky release - the one that smooths alot of the little irritating things but doesnt do any big major new things

HEY, now, I have a wishlist, and it's a wishlist that reflects what I think what would be useful not just to me...hambone1 wrote:I'm tired of all the 6 talk, personally.
Why doesn't everyone just get on and make the best of what they've got? 6 will come when it comes.
but, uhrm, now, truth be told (and I bet it's not just me)...
there is sh*t in Live 5 that I still haven't completely explored. Just now scratching the surface of dummy clips and envelopes, recording midi automation, arps/scales/chords, effects groups... plus I have freaking operator and I've only really explored about 30% of it, then add that I've just gotten a new interface, rediscovering guitar effects settings and messing with looping, experimenting with various things as midi controllers....
so also am in no big rush for 6.
[edit] 3 months in a quarter, Q3 starts in July, in softwarespeak Q3 almost always means September (3*3).
UTENZIL a tool... of the muse.

CPU for starters and I have a list but why bother priniting here. Live 6 will address some of the niggly stuff and when it does my productivity will increase and my frustrations will decrease.ColdPack wrote:Struggling desperately? In what way?
What are you expecting from Live 6 that will solve your problems?
