after warping tracks and putting them in the arrangement screen,how do get them beat on beat by moving them about in the arrangement screen?
seem to be struggling with this
any help please??

You might need to alter the global quantisation. Try setting it to 1 bar.

Yeah - goto:
Preferences>Global Quantise
and choose 1bar.

Do you maybe have "snap to grid" turned off? If you are in arrangement view and aren't seeing a grid, then you should turn it on:
options=>snap to grid.
To control the size of the grid, right-click in the arrangement section and then choose the grid size you'd like. If you have snapped to grid turned on and your beats aren't lining up, you likely have a problem in the way that the tracks are warped.
