What's the latest garygenn69 ??
Have you still got the problem or is it sorted ??
I see the other person (Coldpack) in the Bias thread doesn't have the problem anymore. One crash and that was it.

just updated my peak pro XT 5 yesterday night to 5.2 and i run ableton 5.2,
no probs so far, runs like a charm.
as i said try to use the default VST folders instead of a custom location, maybee that will help.
it doesn't, not in my case anyway i use it since years and never had any serious issues, it used to be buggy (prior 5), but still nothing really from importance.p.s. Peak blows...I'd get a refund if I were you...

It is a problem with the VST plug-ins that Peak installs unto your Library Folder.
Two ways to fix it....
1. Turn Off your VST plug-ins in the Live Preferences. Try Again...
2. Go to your Library ---> Audio ---> Plug Ins ---> VST
remove the mda and freeverb, and Bias Freq plug-ins. Try gain....
It seems as Live 5.2 does not like the new MDA Universal and the other Universal peak VSTs.
Also, the AU version of MDA will work, but will overload you processor and system. They are not Universal and work through Rosetta. They appear to pass the Logic 7.2 Intel AU verification.
Hope this helps.
