but I'm still quite new to live/livesets and midi so hopefully some of you can give me some insight.
suppose I would use the pads on my padkontrol for scene triggering instead of playing drums with it.
so for example pads 1 to 8 control scenes 1 to 8 and the rest of the pad are one shot clips or samples
or are used to enable and disable effects. then I'd use the x-y controller and those two buttons on the
top to manipulate the effect parameters.
ok and here's my question: if I make my set in one ableton liveset how do I set my padkontrol up so
that I switch to the next 8 scenes? I have to preprogram everything in the 16 scene memories right?
also, the PK doesn't have allot of knobs so am I able to control for example the cutoff of synth X and the
wet signal of effect Y with one button? but not at the same time. I'd like to toggle between those.
would that also have to happen in the memorie banks?
allot of stupid questions I know
I was still in doubt if I should go for the PK or trigger finger. but the x-y pad and the visual feedback (the lights)
has kinda done it for me. but I'll buy me a uc16 or something in the future if I really need more knobs.
I'm preparing my first liveset ever so I'm not gonna make it to complicated for now.
any awnsers, advice or tips are very welcome
greetings
