Say goodbye to my/your liveset! NEW LIVESET included!!!
gentleman's club in NY, i do one 7 hour set and one 13 hour set a week, so the night i do the double, i create a 7 hour loop... then the 6th hour becomes the last hour after it loops itself back to beginning at the beggining of the shift changeSplashmas wrote:A seven hour loop??! Do you play very long sets by any chance?
so you basically could push play and then take a nap?Mk wrote:gentleman's club in NY, i do one 7 hour set and one 13 hour set a week, so the night i do the double, i create a 7 hour loop... then the 6th hour becomes the last hour after it loops itself back to beginning at the beggining of the shift changeSplashmas wrote:A seven hour loop??! this thread is interesting, i have never got how people use live to dj.
these screen shots are starting to make it clear.
from what im getting people that use live to dj are just using it as a beefed up media player?
yes, it's really complex, to play and to hear, that's the problem...Waterboy wrote:Without sounding too desperate, I would like to see that (hear that) thang in action!
I can't even imagine what that must sound like .... looks very complex! Especially since the set I typically work with only has a couple of clips!
i will upload a mp3 of the whole liveset playing live...
Can you upload a snippet of it somewhere? Curious to hear a titty bar soundtrack.Mk wrote:gentleman's club in NY, i do one 7 hour set and one 13 hour set a week, so the night i do the double, i create a 7 hour loop... then the 6th hour becomes the last hour after it loops itself back to beginning at the beggining of the shift changeSplashmas wrote:A seven hour loop??! I'm building up a set, 50 or so songs so far. The challenge is finding interesting songs with the right textures for mashing and having a variety of tunes too.
Impressive set!!
