Mega Rendering Issues

Post by whitegirllust » Thu Jun 15, 2006 10:39 pm

In the last month I have started doing some 30 minute long mixes in live with 4 tracks and simple effects (EQ, Delay, Compression). When I try to render the mixes it will always get to a certain percentage (last time 16%, this time 71%) then I get the spinnning pin wheel.

When I look at what exported it will be a large file size but will not open in any application.

I have tried bouncing down the individual tracks... it crashes at the same percentage of completion.

I have no problem bouncing songs (between 1 minute and 8 minutes) with WAY higher CPU usage.

Any ideas? Thx!

OS? Live ver.? Have you tried taking out plugs one by one to see if you have any rogues? Silly question but do you have enough disk space where you're rendering to?

thats a horrible sudjjestion.... it should be able to work at 24bit just fine. and if it doesn't then changing to 16 isn't acceptable...
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
