back to the mac pc thing.
One big point in my view is that PC's have 100's of manufacturers, you get acer, vaio, packard bell etc etc that really are not advised, and then you get Fujitsu, toshiba, compaq etc etc that you would advise.
I would say that a lot of people go for budget pc's and then wonder why they get crashes when they try to run photoshop, cubase, live whatever, because the pc cant handle it.
If you are deciding between a Mac or a PC and you decide to buy a PC for the same price as the mac, then you can get a really good machine that wont crash.
My point is it isnt as easy as Mac vs Pc.
Mac VS Fujitsu siemens is a better way to do it, or mac vs acer, or fujitsu siemens vs acer.
I think that the best option availiable at any one time is the one you should take. If mac is the best option, go with it, but dont be narrow minded because that will only affect yourself.
I had a mate that needed a new machine before Xmas, I THINK MACS ARE BETTER THAN PC'S. So he bought a nice new G4 powerbook, and was gutted when he saw that the pc i bought for the same price was twice as fast for the same price.
he was even more upset when mac released the macbook.
powerbook crashes when overheats.. how to keep PB cool ?
So I am curious.... Have you tried this yet? And if so did anything come of it positive or negative? My add on cooling system works well, but nonetheless if the powerbook could run cooler than it is that would be nice....
