Question about Scene's and clips

Post by drjpdx » Sat Jul 01, 2006 1:48 am

Hi there,

This is probably going to seem kinda silly. What I need to do is create a scene with several loop tracks and several one hit samples. The problem is whenever I start the scene all the one hit clips play once through as they should. What I want is for those one hit clips to only respond to a programmed keyboard command for their respective tracks play button while the loops in the same scene continue playing. I do not want them to respond to the scene start stop.

I'm using a powerpad for triggering Ableton and I want to be able to move through scenes with several pads and have several hit samples assigned out within in each of those scenes.

Help please!

thanks
DRJ
