I DO know the truth. But acting on it is a different matter.

We're all affected to some extent by gear lust. If I had as much talent and creativity as many of the others here, I probably wouldn't get sidetracked by gear lust.

The only thing working for me now is looming deadlines. I can't afford to change the way I'm doing things now. That's a good thing for me, as I lack the discipline to leave well enough alone.

Again, I'm flattered by the attention, but hijacking threads to your own opinionated political means on a music forum is a waste of time.

I must admit I DO find it quite entertaining, though!

From the get go HM has been voicing his opinion on the subject, that's fair and easy

but in all honesty it sounds like you're (HM) trying to defend something going on on your end.

Please try not to take this the wrong way

but it sounds like you have a lot of really expensive gear but you're not doing much with it? Someone comes on here and says they use a midi keyboard a copy of Reason 2 and windows 3.0 and they're super successful might piss someone like you off?
