Error when trying to open 3.0 for the first time.

Hello everyone I just purchased Live version 2.0 and downloaded my upgrade to 3.0, but it wont open on my powerbook. I am on OSX. The error say " Live could not access the folder "application support" in the "library" folder of your home folder. Most likely this is because of a permission problem. Please try to allow write access to that folder for the current user." I have no idea what to do, I just use my powerbook for music and nothing else. Does the fact that I downloaded the update on my iMac, then coppied it to a cd and put that in my powerbook? Please someone help me, I tried searching the forums for an answer, but couldn't find anything.
