Live 3 Crashed while MIDI synced to Yamaha QY100 onstage!!!

Hi , i am using Live onstage for for almost 2 years since version 1.. to 2 , had few freezes , glitches, but never this type of crash:
Today finally upgraded to Live 3 , went to play live with it for the first time , synced Live 3 to my companion's Yamaha QY-100 drum mashine,
after +- 45 minutes Live just completely crashed!!!... dissapeard from
computer screen... sound was still playing thought out of sync.

Now i am puzzeled if this happened because of the external MIDI sync, buggy Live 3, my MOTU 828, OS 9.2.2, my Tascam US428 or what?
any ideas, i still have the log fle of the last night.. will this do any help?
