Should have figured Korg couldn't get it all the way right. Their included .als was like nothing I've ever wanted to try--some of the lamest mappings imagineable.

I still love it, but the pK is really just an instrument and not a controller. Why can't I set channels individually for the knobs and XY pad? These are big shortcomings MIDI fiends should know about. Korg always seems stuck in the recent past.

yeah I feel the same, just bought mine today.
I thought the ilumination of the pads would be usefull:
I would have liked the pads to show in toggle mode if they represent "on" or "off" to have a visual feedback for mute etc. i.e. light if its on, no light if its set to off. but korg didnt really think far by programming that thing!
I also cant manage to run that superior drum plug, I only get the basdrum!
kind of stupid....

RE: DFH Superior

That's because every drum has separate output - you need to map each output to an audio channel. I had the same problem at first.

Also, try loading the .als file for DFH off the disc or in the editor folder. Has all the channels assigned for you.

Me neither!

I haven't found a way so I end up with alot of channels, like you said. I'll have another look later though when I'm on my studio PC and I'll post if I find anything!

Just had a proper look and unfortunately there's no way to change outputs. It's all or nothing I'm afraid!

Choose "stereo mixdown" on the settings page which you can access from the pad configuration window that you see in the beginning or from the file menu.
