My hypothesis on why the KKK is allowed to operate is because they hate minorities. I might be wrong but I seriously doubt that a muslim hate group that speaks out against christians and jews in america would be allowed to operate in the same respect as the KKK.

Is anyone else having troubles downloading that .torrent file? Whenever I try it just sits there. Do I need to be a member of that site?

The movie was called Birth of a Nation by DW Griffith (I think). Is this really an appropriate subject for a music software forum? And by the way, it's not just the South, there are more active members of the Klan in Indiana. I'm not kidding.

Is Indiana really that bad? I just got back from Boise and was mildy surprised at how diverse and some what hip the city was - all kinds of people

Then again I knew a girl from Indiana who's parents were pretty anti jew, black etc etc...she didn't understand, neither do I

appropriate discussion for this board - what's appropriate? You should search for some of my more esoteric posts about my life, dogs and adventures in and out of the state...then we'll talk about appropriateness :)

I'm backing this up...
We're all supposed to be friends here right?

We all use the same software - so let that be the one thing we have in common while we can disagree and argue about the stuff we don't.

"as long as people are talking...."

Adonis has taken some pretty unpopular positions in general on social issues in this forum and - agree or disagree with him - I think he's consistent and it takes a lot of sack to be as candid as he has.

I think I was just in a bad mood at the time.....sorry. I'm not a moderator so there's really nothing I can say. It's frustrating though when you live in the South and you're not a redneck but you have to hear about how stupid people are down here(trust me, we have some stupid stupid people here-most of them are in the state government and on the county commission in my hometown......thieves). Anyway, yes the KKK is very weird and I actually remember being about 6 years old and seeing them march down the street here one day. I guess you could call it a rally or a parade even though there were only about ten of them. Scary.

The REAL secret is that the KKK is a farce.

The KKK was founded by Albert Pike, whos statue still resides in Washington DC to this day. He was a freemason and started this group to further the Satanic world that he and his cronies wanted to create.

Pretty evil from the foundation. Just read the Wikipedia site about him...it truly exemplifies Wikipedia's forced apologism. there are too many, literally laughable sentences in the entry, I couldnt even begin to start quoting them here.

But the followers of the same tenants of freemasonry as Pike, have learned that they dont need to hide behind masks or lynching blacks anymore. They can and are doing it in every vestige of the government now.

It degraded in to little more than a front group, which recruits bored hicks and keeps them under control. They have their occasional rallies, and work out their rage screaming and at the firing range.

Look it up, read about it. Dont trust some cover job bologna on the History Channel. They are the arbitors of history, ONLY IF YOU LET THEM BE.

Odd Albert Pike quote, nicely slamming to GWB methinks.....
A war for a great principle ennobles a nation. A war for commercial supremacy, upon some shallow pretext, is despicable.

Freemasons, the illuminatti and the like: Now THAT'S the stuff that will make your hair stand on end, certianlly has some truth to it, and makes George Bush look like a cute little kitten.

Boise is in Idaho not Indiana. Indiana is clear ion the other side of ther country.

Sorry, not trying to be a dick, just seemed like a pretty big geographic slip.

/lived innSeattle for 7 years. Went to Boise, Idaho many time. But I've never been to Boise, Indiana.

Nowadays, Indiana seems a great place. I enjoy visiting, and my business that takes me there has a multi-ethnic/ multi-cultural purpose. No trouble that I've seen, and I always meet genuine folks there.

i dunno about Idaho. but Indiana is fine.
The rural parts are pretty conservative, but the cities are not.

keep in mind, when talking about the hey-day of the KKK in Indiana, we're talking about 80 years ago.

Indianapolis' representative in the United States Congress is a black woman named Julia Carson and she has held that seat for the last 10 years. So the days of our government being ran by the Klan are long gone.
