SoundFont Synth problems under Tiger

Anyone else here have problems running the SoundFont Synth AU under Tiger?
It ran fine under Panther with Live 4.12, but under Tiger it crashes live when you drag it to a midi track--both 4.12 and 4.13.

I am also experiencing this problem, here is what the developer says:

I'm looking into it but the problem would seem to lie within Ableton Live.
Sondfont Synth passes Apples AU Validation tests and works OK with all the
other AU Hosts.

This kinda blows, I really need a lightweight Soundfont player for my old machine and it crashes Live everytime as you describe
