Hi guys,
I'm sending in the crash logs but a brief description:
Launch Pro Tools
Launch Live
Live crashes during launch and I get an Apple Bug Report (which I'm sending to you)
Relaunch Live
Live launches and says 'Live has detected another Rewire master...' which won't allow it to be 'rewired' but will allow it to operate standalone.
Quit Live and try again.
Same notice.
Quit Live again.
Quit PT for a Restart and PT won't close because it says there's another Rewire program still running (or something to that effect) even though Live has been shut down already.
Only a PT 'force quit' can close the program and then of course it hangs on relaunch and I have to restart anyway.
Totally repeatable on my computer.
Logs are on their way...

I have reported rewire problems previously and just tested cubase + the latest Live 5.2.1 beta.
Confirmed that trying to rewire live and cubase is still causing a crash as well.
I hope they can get these problem sorted.
It seems all hosts are affected in some way when trying to rewire Live.
I am sending info for the beta team.

Yeah,
It's strange because I have absolutely no problems when Rewiring 5.2 to PT, it's just this Beta that's gone all wonky on me.
Ah well, it's not like I HAVE to use the Beta but thought I'd add my 2 cents in case it might help.

Hello.
I'm not having any crashing, but this seems like bad behavior:
When Live is ReWired to Pro Tools (on an Intel iMac), if I don't start the Pro Tools transport on a down beat of a measure, then Live is out of sync. In other words, Live always starts on the down beat of the clip, no matter where I start Pro Tools.
This is kind of annoying.
