Rendering freezes with error. Live has to be closed.

Everytime I try to render one of my projects, it stops at 20 percent with an error. "A serious program error has occured. You should try to save your work under a new name using the Save As command from the file menu and restart the application" I've narrowed the problem down to my Beat Repeat automation. I've tried to save under another name but it doesn't help. Any ideas?

What happens if you delete the automation for that beat repeat? Does the project render fine?

Yes. When I delete the automation for beat repeat, it renders fine, which is a shame, because the automation makes the whole thing work. I have another project that won't render which also has beat repeat in it. That's how I narrowed the problem down to beat repeat.
