Korg Triton LE

Hey everybody,
I just acquired a Korg Triton Le, and have been playing around with it quite a bit to get a feel for it. Is there any way to get all of those wonderful synth sounds recorded and transferred to my computer by any other means of simply recording the audio and losing so much of the quality? I know how to record a few tracks together on the Triton itself and save it, but how do I get that over to my machine? Any help would be terrific. Thanks in advance!!

yeah,

hook the triton by usb to the computer and whatever program u r using it should be able to read what u r playing. u will need an audio interface for it though.

i have a question also...i have a triton extreme and i have hooked up a external cd drive to it. the triton extreme reads it perfectly and plays the track but i have no sound coming out what am i doing wrong?

The Triton Le has no usb. I dont understand what your saying.

Hi droppedbeat,

You wont be losing any quilty if your recording the triton le through a digital mixer i dont know if you have one but thats how ive been doing it.

Each track on the sequencer corresponds to a midi channel of the same number i assume you have a midi interface.

I would tell you more but im not sure how much you know about this stuff so im not going to write loads for no point

Theres no quik way of do this.

Are you trying to record the sounds and create a multisampled instrument for use on your pc? I am not sure what you want to do?

yo, i have a triton pro x, i usually record into live @ 24bit 48khz, that's the analog output resolution on the classic versions so in theory you shouldn't lose quality... or enough to fart on your musical parade...

How are you using the triton? Its pretty fun to sequence some beats, record them into live, and warp/ offset sample, cut n paste and all that good stuff.

I also use the triton for FX. The FX block is damned good. 5 FX with two master fx... a lot can be done with it.

the original poster said he needed an audio interface (ie; one that has usb)

I would just pick up a $39 M-Audio Uno. About the only thing that company does right...
