Machinedrum and Ableton Live questions?

Hello,
I am thinking of buying my self a elektron MD for Xmas and have a few questions to ask of those who use one with Live. How well does Live and MD sync together when using the MD as master midi? When playing a drum loop on MD and a synth loop on Live and I change to a diffrent synth loop in Live when Live is in a 1 bar quantise mode well it start the loop at the begaining of the next 1 bar loop in the MD? Basicly, can I run the MD and then change from scene to scene with in Live and have my 1 bar loops in live start right at the begaining of the next 1 bar loop in the MD? I know MD has audio input, I am planning to run my lap top with Live and a Echo indigo dj card for pre-listen then run the main out of echo dj to the inputs of MD to use as a mixer, does any body do this and how well does it work. I only want my set up to contain my lap top with Live, Echo dj card, Pcr-30 controller and MD and body use a simular set up and what are your experiences?

i use two computers one running live, one running reason and they sync perfectly with midi. should be the same with any midi device.

Live syncs to my electribes just super too.
